Really just a quick schetch out of my little book but with a few changes.

This Way Up

This Way Up
This one was super fun to design. I tried to put in plenty of directional elemnts to lead your eye to the middle maccaw. I loved painting it too.

I just thought that it would be neat if I could draw someone with moss, dirt and roots as hair. Then a tree came to mind. I had a ton of fun coming up with the color scheme too. This pic all around makes me pleased with how it turned out.

This one was for my sis and I've still got two more birdy pictures to go.

Tin Toy

Tin Toy
I painted this in oil. It's a little tin candy container that held some pretty nasty candy. I didn't waste it though. Kids really don't care care if candy is gross as long as they get some.

Flourish of Color

Flourish of Color
I got the idea for this one from both Camille and Natalie. Camille has this awesome butterfly mobile and Natalie mad a really pretty bouquet for a wedding. So, I combined the two on paper and this is what came out.

It's An Adventure

It's An Adventure
This is not Rapunzel. I doodled this in church one day, (I know, I'm horrible) and got really excited to put it into color.
